Established in 2012 in accordance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) under the Affordable Care Act.
The Affordable Care Act established Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) such as AllCare Options to facilitate the coordination of care from Medicare Fee-for-Service beneficiaries between hospitals, health care providers, doctors, and other health care professionals. This coordinated care is designed to create efficiencies and provide Medicare Fee-for-Service patients with high quality service and care, while reducing Medicare costs.
