If my doctor is a participating provider with AllCare Options, LLC, can I still see whatever doctor I want?
Yes, if your doctor participates with AllCare Options, LLC, you can still see any healthcare provider who accepts Medicare. No one – not even your doctor, can tell you who you have to see.
Is AllCare Options, LLC a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) managed care or an insurance company?
No. AllCare Options, LLC is a group of doctors and other healthcare providers who are committed to working together to provide you with high quality, coordinated care. AllCare Options, LLC participating doctors communicate with you and with each other to make sure that you get the care you need when you are sick, and the support you need to stay healthy. Please know that unlike HMO’s AllCare Options cannot tell you which health care provider to see and cannot change your Medicare benefits. If your doctor is an AllCare Options participating provider, then you will always have the right to choose any doctor or hospital who accepts Medicare at any time.
How do I know if my doctor is an AllCare Options participating provider? And, what should I expect if my doctor is?
If your doctor chooses to participate with AllCare Options, LLC, you will be notified. This notification might come in the form of a letter, written information provided to you during your next visit to your doctor’s office, in the form of a conversation with your doctor, or through a sign posted in your doctor’s office. However, if you are unsure if your doctor or healthcare provider is participating with AllCare Options-Medicare ACO, please do not hesitate to ask him/her.
